Monday

A friend of ours is doing his graduate study at VCU in RIchmond, VA. He gave us a tour of his studio.



The we toured the historic cemetary that dates back to the civil war. Hey look! It's Jefferson Davis - the president of the confederacy.


And lastly, when in the south, you need to have some BBQ.

Sunday

We spent the day in the nation's capitol.











Saturday

who doesn't love powdered donuts?

Back on the road, we're headed for West Virginia to stay with Steve's uncle.

We arrived ant Uncle Larry and Aunt Cheryl's house in time for dinner, another camp fire, and an all around delightful evening.

Friday

We went to Greenfield Village. We watched glass blowers, rode on a real steam locomotive and a carousel, and made prints on an old printing press.




We spent the evening at home with Grandma and Grandpa. We had a great campfire with hot dogs and smores.
